Itinerary
Day 1
Full Day
Picking up at your hotel in Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas, head down Route 225 towards the cities of Ensenada and Petrohué.
We will show you the main attractions of the region and introduce you to the people who call you your home. The beautiful ecosystem at the mouth of the Pescado River will get your attention. These abundant waters have made the river famous in the community of sport fishermen. Continuing along Ensenada, we will visit the lovely Laguna Verde, in Spanish, called "Laguna Verde", at the foot of the Osorno volcano inside Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. The conical volcano, which rises steeply high, has an appearance that resembles Mount Fuji on the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan.
Then, travel through the forest to the beautiful Petrohué Falls. A short and easy walk will have you standing in front of the ice-green, blue-green, channel-type waterfall. You will also have time to relax and enjoy the fountain of the falls, the beautiful Todos los Santos Lake (also known as the Emerald Lake) with excellent views of the Osorno volcano.
