San Cipriano: Adventure and Descent of the River

San Cipriano is not just any nature reserve, it has one of the most crystalline rivers in Colombia; its wonderful trails, waterfalls, natural pools and its beautiful tropical rainforest make it a magical tourist destination.

San Cipriano is a picturesque Colombian Pacific town in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by rivers that are ideal for activities such as: swimming, snorkeling, tubing, kayaking and high jumps.
The adventure begins when you get on the BRUJITA , a kind of wooden slab with balineras placed on the train rails and driven by a motorcycle you travel through the jungle along the path that will take you to live an exotic experience.
The San Cipriano Nature Reserve provides rest and pleasure to the mind, body and spirit. There you will find peace, silence and you will be able to synchronize the beats of your heart with the sound of a naturally virgin forest, you will taste delicious food, you will see friendly people and you will live an adventure worth repeating every time you return to Cali.
End this experience by going down the river in a comfortably coupled tire enjoying the scenery without doing anything, you just have to relax and let yourself be carried away by the current.

Itinerary

Day 1

San Cipriano

Tour start time 7:00 am

We will begin our trip en route to the San Cipriano nature reserve, this tour is about an hour and a half to two.
We will make a brief stop along the way to enjoy a typical regional breakfast.
After arriving, we will cross the bridge to find a dense jungle and a little witch who will pick us up and take us to the center of town.
Here we will go up the path until we reach the restaurant where we leave our belongings under lock and key.
We will then walk through the nature trails and visit several pools and magical waterfalls before reaching the river.
Once we reach the river we will go down in tubing, enjoying the landscape that surrounds us.
Once we finish the activity, we will have a special seafood lunch and return to the city.

Important announcement:

Recommendations:

Wear sports shoes or shoes that are comfortable for walking.
In a small briefcase bring: Bathing suit, aquashoes or water shoes, extra light and fresh clothing, small towel, flip flops or flip flops, rain poncho or waterproof jacket, plastic bag, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and bottle with water

Additional Information:

The tour is not canceled in case of bad weather, your belongings will be stored in a locker at the beginning of the tour, what you take thereafter must be waterproof, consider bringing a waterproof bag or plastic bag to store the items you you want to take along on the tour.
The use of the life jacket is mandatory while you are in the river, on board the float or when its use is indicated.
It is important to know how to swim, although you will always have your life jacket on, you must maneuver the tire at some points of the descent.
Minor children who wish to do the tubing activity must be accompanied by their parents and must know how to swim. The descent is not dangerous, but it is the responsibility of their relatives to take care of the minors.
