Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Suchipakari Jungle Lodge – Hike to the Natural Lookout – Gigantic Ceibo – Tubing.
Your stay begins with a refreshing drink. After you have settled into your room, a delicious lunch will be served. Then, you will get rubber boots to take a short walk, accompanied by our native guide. He will share his knowledge on MEDICINAL PLANTS of the locality, such as: dragon's blood, ginger, guayasa and straw, which is used for the construction of houses and the elaboration of costumes and instruments for their Communities.
You can swing like Tarzan and take a picture in the GIANT CEIBO , the famous giant tree of the Amazon. During the journey you will also be able to observe a great variety of birds, including woodpeckers, kingfishers, wagtails, toucans, orioles and the famous cacique.
Upon returning to the Lodge, they will put on swimsuits, life jackets and buoys, to SWIM & DESCEND in the Pusuno River to the Lodge. After dinner, your guide will explain the next day's activities.
Day 2
Cycling to the Kichua Community to enjoy dancing and see the preparation of chicha, the main source of food and drink for the Kichuas.
After a delicious breakfast, we will take a walk in the jungle to the WATERFALL with rubber boots. Along the way our guide will explain the flora of the area such as bamboo, laurel, cocoa and orchids. On your JOURNEY INSIDE THE RAINFOREST you will meet several different species of monkeys, bats among others. You will enjoy our picnic lunch on the river. It is possible to slide down the gigantic stone platform at 50 meters where the River forms a NATURAL SLIDE .
Then we will take the BICYCLES to visit the INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY the same that tries to preserve the culture and traditions of the Kichua people. In the KICHWACOMMUNITY , you will witness the TYPICAL DANCE and its CEREMONIAL MUSIC, CULTURE AND HANDICRAFTS OF THE COMMUNITY. Here you can buy handicrafts made by the youth of the community, since the Jungle offers materials to make necklaces, bracelets, earrings, crowns, etc. We will return by canoe to PLAYA DE MONOS. You will return to the Lodge. DINNER sitting around a campfire and discuss the day's adventures.
Day 3
Canoe Trip – Napo River Landscapes – Hoatzin Lagoon – Wildlife Museum
After breakfast, we will walk about 20 minutes to the foot of the Napo River where we will take a motorized canoe. You will take the CANOA and continue your journey along the river for approximately 1 1/2 hours. You can see some waterfowl along the way.
The HOATZIN is found exclusively in the tangled vegetation, vine that is located on the edges of the oxbow lakes. This habitat is home to one of the strangest birds in the Amazon Rainforest ; The Hoatzin, thought to be a missing link between dinosaurs and birds, due to the claws on the wings and general PREHISTORIC appearance, this bird is now thought to be related to cuckoos or demons.
Behind the banks of the Arajuno River is the famous ANIMAL REFUGE knownlike AMAZON . The same one that was founded with the purpose of protecting and caring for the native and wild animals of the area that have been injured, mistreated or confiscated and delivered because they were being smuggled. This is a great opportunity to observe what exactly the natural habitat is like in which these creatures live, something that is quite difficult to reach since they are inside the jungle such as: ANACONDA, BOA CONSTRICTOR, MACAWS, TOUCANS, PARROTS, MONKEYS, TAPIR , CAIMAN, SAHINO,JAGUAR, andREPTILES.
Return to the Lodge. You will learn how to use the LEGENDARY WEAPON . The blowgun that is used by the Kichwa people as a method of hunting monkeys, birds, tapirs and other animals. A liquid that comes from the mixture of plants and animal poison, the same that the locals call "curare", works as a paralyzing agent on the animals they want to hunt. Typical Dinner & Bonfire.
Day 4
Last day
After having enjoyed a pleasant breakfast, we will propose to prepare handmade chocolate, ecstatic with its rich aroma and flavor. After this experience, the check out will take place.

All cabins and rooms are built with local materials, making your stay very comfortable in harmony with the environment.
The accommodation itself is made up of ten cabins, with thatched and wooden roofs, each with a private bathroom, hot water, fans and a balcony, very spacious and designed for double, triple or family occupancy. We also have a very quiet place, exclusively for our honeymoon cabin , decorated with flowers and romantic lighting.
