- On this 11-day tour you will have the opportunity to see about half of the 1040 bird species that live in Mexico! You will travel among a selection of the best bird watching habitats, including mangroves, estuaries, dry tropical forest and dense lowland rainforest. We will also visit some of the magnificent archeological ruins in the area.
- You can find bird species such as: Thicket Tinamou, Great Curassow, Black-throated Bobwhite, Little Yellow-Headed, Crane Hawk, Ornate Hawk-Eagle, Barred Forest-Falcon, Ruddy Crake, Rufous-Necked Wood-Rail, Yucatan Parrot, Yucatan Poorwill, Bird of Yucatan, Jay of Yucatan, Mexican Anttrush, Orange Oriole, etc.
- It is a wonderful observation of birds and nature!

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival at the Cancun airport
- Welcome to the Mexican Caribbean! an operator will be waiting for you at the exit of the international airport in Cancún with a bank with your name, then you will be called to your hotel to rest and prepare for the adventure.

Day 2
Early observation of birds in the cenotes route.
- We will take you to the wonderful path of the cenotes in Puerto Morelos, walk in the jungle to identify the largest number of birds of the Penisula and end the day swimming in a cenote, body of water considered sacred to the Maya in antiquity.

Birdwatching in San Salvador Ranch, Rio Lagartos
- Today we will see Rio Lagartos, one of the places with the greatest nesting of flamingos in the world and with great biodiverity.

Early bird watching in Ek Balam and visit to the cenote
- Ek Balam is one of the most important Mayan cities of the Penisula, located in the middle of the jungle we can visit its ruins, know its history while we observe and identify birds of the Peninsula.

Day 5
Early observation of birds in Chichén Itzá, continue to Izamal
- We will visit Chichén Itzá, one of the Seven New Wonders of the World, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it is a magnificent archaeological site. We will learn about the Mayan culture and traditions. Admire the temple of Kukulcán, known as El Castillo.

Early observation of birds in Uxmal
- Uxmal or Óoxmáal is an ancient Mayan city. At present it is one of the most important archaeological sites of the Mayan culture, along with Chichen Itza and Ekbalam

Early bird watching in Edzna, Campeche
- Edzna is a Mayan archaeological site, located in the Mexican state of Campeche, in the Edzna Valley. It is one of the most interesting Mayan cities, due to the technological advances discovered in it.

- We will travel to San Cristobal de las Casas which is a Magical Town that is located in the state of Chiapas, we will soak up its culture and colors.

- To finish we will visit Chiapa de Corzo, colonial place of tradition and culture, framed with the warmth of its people, it is one of the most beautiful cities of the State of Chiapas and as every morning we will go out to observe and identify birds.
