Day 1
Kuelap Fortress
7:00 am: Breakfast at the Hotel.
8:30 am: We will depart from Chachapoyas to the town of Nuevo Tingo (01:00 hour), where the station of the new Kuelap Gondola System is located, which we will enjoy a journey over the clouds for 20 min trip to the ticket office located in “La Malca”
Kuelap Walk : Then we will walk for approximately 30 minutes along a stone path until we reach the Citadel of Kuelap, located at 3000 meters above sea level, archaeological complex of greater significance for the Chachapoyas, built since the 6th century AD and discovered in 1843, it impresses Its stone walls up to 20 meters high, which protect more than 500 circular houses, many of them are decorated with zigzag-shaped friezes and rhomboids, distributed over more than seven hectares.
Nuevo Tingo : After the visit, when we return to the town of Nuevo Tingo we enjoy a succulent lunch and then return to Chachapoyas.
4:00 pm: We return to Chachapoyas.
Day 2
Karajía sarcophagi - Quiocta Caverns
7:00 am: Breakfast at the Hotel.
8:30 am: We will depart from Chachapoyas to the town of Lamud (01:00 hours) to visit the caves of Quiocta in the upper part, where a diversity of Stalactites and Stalagmites and other rock formations that will impress you will be explored within 500 meters. , which are formed by the action of dripping water on calcite stone.
Lunch , in the afternoon we will visit the town of Cruzpata (01:00 hour) where the funerary statues of Karajía are located , located on inaccessible cliffs, placed the mummified bodies of the most important rulers of the Chachapoyas culture, the Sarcophagi of Karajia , they will blow your mind and imagine how it is that the ancient inhabitants of this area lived together and the customs they had. Later we return to Chachapoyas.
4:30 pm: We return to Chachapoyas.
Day 3
Revash Mausoleums and Leymebamba Museum
7:00 am: Breakfast at the Hotel.
8:00 am: We will depart from Chachapoyas to the town of San Bartolo (02:30 hours) from there the walk begins for approximately 40 min to the funerary chullpas of Revash or also known as Mausoleums of Revash, in the afternoon we move to the village of Leymebamba (01:30 hours),
Lunch and visit to the Community Museum of Leymebamba, where we can appreciate more than 219 Chachapoyas mummies that despite the centuries passed are in good condition, we can also appreciate looms, ceramics, weapons of war, musical instruments and an interesting collection of Inca quipus. Later we return to Chachapoyas.
5: 30 pm: We return to Chachapoyas.
Day 4
Gocta waterfall
7:00 am: Breakfast at the Hotel.
9:00 am: We will depart from Chachapoyas to the town of Cocachimba (01:00 hour), from there the trek begins approximately 02 hours 30 min. until reaching the base of the second fall; Gocta waterfall is one of the biggest natural attractions of Amazonas, with its 771 meters high, visiting this place allows us to establish a direct connection with nature, enjoy the beautiful landscapes that surround it; the routes are accompanied by magical trails, surrounded by trees and illuminated by the sun's rays that are intertwined with the leaves.
Cocachimba : Upon returning to the town of Cocachimba we enjoy a delicious lunch and then return to Chachapoyas.
4:00 pm: We return to Chachapoyas.
Day 5
Viewpoint Route
7:30 am: Breakfast at the Hotel.
9:00 am: This time we will travel to the town of Huancas, and visit the Huanca Urco viewpoint, from which we can appreciate the varied and rugged geography that makes up the relief of the Amazonian Andes and the Utcubamba river. Then we will visit the impressive Sonche Canyon with an extension between 11.45 km, with an average width between 1.46 to 2.70 km, and its depth reaches up to 962 meters.
Luya Urco : And we finish with the visit to the Mirador de Luya Urco, located in the city of Chachapoyas, transfer to hotel.
1:00 pm: Return to Chachapoyas.
