This excursion begins with the pick-up from the hotels in the center of Bariloche starting at 01:00 PM. We head about 17 km to the west, where we will pass through beautiful beach until we reach the town of Catedral at the foot of the hill. During the tour, a guide will give us an explanation of the importance of this scepter for Bariloche as well as for Argentina.
Once we arrive at the village, we will have time to shop and have lunch in the restaurants and confectioneries that are there.
During spring / summer you reach the base, in the mountain there is no presence of snow, but when ascending, the views from the mountain range are incredible. The hill during the winter season is the largest ski center in South America, with 120 kilometers of slopes that occupy around 600 hectares.
Next, we go to the chairlifts to ascend to the top of the cathedral hill. The guide will be waiting for us and we will be able to take the best photos of the hill and nature, we will also have panoramic views of Lake Nahuel Huapi, Lake Gutiérrez, the western mountain range and the Chilean volcanic peaks. Here we can also see the city of Bariloche.
Later, we will have free time to rest and explore the surroundings of the place.
Finally, around 05:00 pm we will return to the city of Bariloche where we will be dropped off at our hotel.
