Day 1
Chichicastenango and Lake Atitlán Full Day Tour
In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel to transfer you to Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful in the world, and one of the most famous natural beauties of our country.
Atitlán is the ideal place to get in direct contact with Guatemalan folklore.
Twelve indigenous peoples surround the lake, and its inhabitants are descendants of the Quichés, Cackchiqueles, and Tzutuhiles.
Continue to Chichicastenango, Lunch at Hotel Museo Mayan Inn.
After lunch, you will visit the largest and most picturesque indigenous market held in the open air in Guatemala.
Hundreds of indigenous people come from different towns in the surroundings to sell and exchange their products.
They will also be able to admire the religious ceremonies that take place inside and outside the Church of Santo Tomás, which is more than 400 years old (NO shorts, no bathing suits, or TAKING ANY KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHS INSIDE THE CHURCH).
In the afternoon, return to your hotel in Guatemala City.
