Start of the tour
ALVARADO: We begin our tour with Alvarado just 72 km south of the port of Veracruz at the mouth of the Blanco and Papaloapan rivers, named after the conqueror Pedro deAlvarado. Picturesque and famous place for the joy and snack-day of its people, it is also distinguished by its rich gastronomy, festivals and traditions such as the fair of the crosses in the month of May. We visited the Iglesia del Rosario, the Plaza de Armas, the fishermen's wharf.
TLACOTALPAN: later arrive at Tlacotalpan considered as a cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO and is located 18 km. de Alvarado, cradle of Veracruz folklore, festivals and traditions, we will take a tour of its streets contemplating the simple and colorful architecture of its houses with traditional furniture, we will visit the Ferrando museum and the famous composer Agustín Lara, the Church of the Virgen de la Candelaria patron saint of this place, the unique Nezahualcóyotl Theater, enjoy the typical sweets and handicrafts here are suggestions for eating
