Get to know the Mantaro Valley, located in the department of Junín in the central Andean zone of Peru, at an altitude of 3,200 meters above sea level. After traveling along the Central highway from Lima, and crossing the high mountains of the Andes, this beautiful valley appears.

With a mountain landscape where the Mantaro River, crop fields, eucalyptus trees and a blue sky predominate.
Get to know "The first capital of Peru": Jauja.
The Central Jungle occupies 10% of the Peruvian territory and is divided between the regions of Junín, Pasco, Huánuco, Ucayali, Loreto, Huancavelica and Cusco.
The snow-covered Huaytapallana surprises with its beauty and impresses with its halo and energy to which the inhabitants of the area endorse several legends, they even believe that there was a protective spirit of the mountain there.

Departure place

Huancayo: Reception and Transfer from the Bus Terminal to the Accommodation. The pick-up points and times for the Tours will be coordinated with the operator.

Itinerary

Day 1

Full Day - Monumental (North Valley)

Start: 10:30 a.m.
Departure from Huancayo.
Orcotuna: Sanctuary of the Virgin of Cocharcas.
Myth: Main square, main church and the replica of the Trevi Fountain (Optional).
Exhibition of the dance of the Huaconada.
Wawi Wawi: Geological formations (15 minute trek).
Paca Lagoon: Boat ride.
Jauja: Plaza de Armas and Colonial Church.
Chapel of Cristo Pobre (Optional).
Dairy plant: Purchase of dairy products.
Return to Huancayo.
End: 7:00 p.m.

Day 2

Full Day - Perene Valley (Central Jungle)

Start: 4:30 a.m.
Departure from Huancayo.
Yanango Tunnel: Third longest tunnel in Peru (1,025 m).
Bayoz Waterfall: 15-minute trek.
Velo de la Novia Waterfall: 15-minute trek (Optional).
Boat ride on the Perene River.
Marankiari: Ashánincas native community.
Coffee Light Chanchamayo: Coffee and fruit processing plant.
Return to Huancayo.
End: 11:30 p.m.

Day 3

Full Day - Nevado Huaytapallana

Start: 8:30 a.m.
Departure from Huancayo.
La Estancia Huaytapallana: Place to order lunch, starting point and arrival point of the walk.
Trekking of 3 hours one way, along the route of the Enchanted Lagoons (Carhuacocha, Cocha Grande and Yanaucsha).
Payment to the Pachamama: Chacchado de Coca and formation of Apachetas.
The goal is to reach 500 meters before the slopes of the Nevado Huaytapallana over 4,950 meters above sea level. Place to appreciate the glacier in the distance and take photos.
Trekking of 1 hour and 30 minutes of return, along the Abra Yanaucsha route to La Estancia Huaytapallana, where you have lunch.
Return to Huancayo.
End: 7:00 p.m.

English has an additional cost of 15 dollars per person - under prior consultation.
We do not include entrance fees to museums and parks in any service.
Children up to 4 years old, do not pay. Children from 5 years old, pay as an adult.

Any cancellation of the service for the reasons indicated, does not apply a refund.
In such a case, the Operator could carry out a contingency plan with an alternative tour.
The Itinerary may vary at the discretion of the operator, always to guarantee the safety of the traveler and the best development of the service as a whole.
If you decide to withdraw before the end of the service, there will be no refund for it either.
If you bring or buy snacks during the tours, preferably light ones (dried fruits, cookies and water).
If you do not attend the day of the service, it will be considered as "Done" without any Claims, Postponements or Returns.
Seats in transfer mobility are not reserved, they are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
