Arequipa: Sillar Route and Personalized City Tour.

From Arequipa Pick up from hotels within the historic center of the city.
In case they are far away, the meeting point will be in the main square of Armas at the start time of the tour.
Itinerary
Day 1
Sillar Route and Countryside Tour
8 am. Pick up from hotels in the city center, or meeting point in the Plaza de Armas.
8:30 am. We leave for the quarriesof Añashuayco , the first stop on the sillar route, on the way and depending on the day, we will make a brief stop at a store so that they can buy some personal item that they need such as sunscreen, mosquito repellent or a bottle of water.
9:15 am. We enter our first stop to see the work of the stonemason, his ancestral art of carving and extraction of ashlar. Then we can appreciate the carvings made on the walls of the same material. We can also take photos of the various ashlar-based animals made in this area.
10:30 am We headed towards the virgin quarries of shingles, a pink ashlar canyon formed by the effect of nature. A short walk of 25 minutes and here we will coordinate some restrictions on the descent to this canyon for people with health problems that prevent a walk on this surface, which is largely rocky.
11:30 am , Finishing the visit and after having an explanation of the petroglyphs, we will go back up the Culebrillas canyon to board the car and return to the center of the city.
12:30 pm. Return to the historic center and free time to eat or rest briefly at the hotel. (You may like to take something out of your accommodation). We disembark at Moral Street, 1 block from the main square of Armas.
2 pm. Again we meet with a meeting point in the central Plaza de Armas to board the next transport and tour the surroundings of the city.
Mirador de Yanahuara, Mirador de Carmen Alto (where you can see terraces of the old Arequipa), Incalpaca (textile factory with a sample of South American camelids that feed and live in this house). At each point we descend and visit each point approximately 25 minutes.
4 pm. We go through different points having only a view from the second floor. Goyoneche Palace, Tingo Spa, Via Paisajista.
5 pm. We make two more stops in traditional places in Arequipa, such as the Founder's Mansion and the Sabandia Mill, each with an optional entrance fee. Depending on the day and time we may have the option of entering the Menelik museum.
6 pm We already return to the center of the city of Arequipa .
6:20 pm Disembark at Calle San Agustin , 1 block from the main square of the city.

In the case of the route of the sillar and sensitivity to the sun, use dark lenses and garments that cover them from the sun, since in this part of Arequipa the sun radiates with greater intensity, in addition to having mostly white surfaces.
