Citadel of Caral, Supe Valley and Áspero from Lima
Caral is an archaeological site where the remains of the main city of civilization are found.
It is located in the Supe Valley, 182 kilometers north of Lima (Peru), 23 km from the coast and 350 meters above sea level.
It is attributed an antiquity of 5,000 years and is considered "The oldest city in America", since no other older site with such a diversity of monumental buildings, with different ceremonial and administrative functions, has been found until now on that continent.
LOCATION : KM 193.50 of the North Pan-American Highway 10 km to the west is the citadel of Áspero , it is an archaeological complex that is located near the mouth of the Supe River, south of Supe Puerto, on the central coast of Peru. It belongs to the late archaic period, from 3000 to 1800 BC. The Citadel of Caral is at a distance of 32.50 km from Asia East.

Itinerary
Day 1
Full Day Caral - Asper
06:15 a.m. Pick up of passengers in the hotel lobby.
06:30 a.m. Departure to the Áspero Archaeological Site.
08:20 a.m. Stop at the (Restaurant Marcelo. or del Pino) The pax that wishes can have breakfast or use the hygienic services.
11:30 a.m. Arrival at the Áspero Valley. The congregated population participated in the information process of the first Andean civilization. Through the extraction of marine resources, especially fish, in exchange with the interior valleys, he obtained in particular cotton fiber, necessary for the manufacture of fishing nets and lines.
1:00 p.m. Lunch at the Tatos Tourist Restaurant (on behalf of Pax) in Barranca.
2:30 p.m. We will visit the Citadel of Caral. This is located on the left bank of the lower middle valley of Supe, 26 km from the coast and 350 meters above sea level; occupies 66 hectares. It comprises a core area with 32 public structures and several residential complexes, and an area on the outskirts, bordering the valley where several housing complexes were built. In the nuclear space of the Sacred City of Caral are the public and domestic buildings of higher status, distributed in two large halves: Caral Alto, on the north side, and Caral Bajo, on the south. In the city of Caral various religious festivities were celebrated, in which architectural remodeling, fairs and ritual ceremonies were carried out.
