Getting to the top of Ausangate is a challenge for all travelers who practice trekking. Itinerary
Day 1
Our tours are one day
Our tour begins with the pick up from your hotel between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., then we will travel for about three hours until we reach the town of Pacchanta, where we will have an American breakfast included.
After a while we will get ready and start a walk to explore and visit the 7 lagoons of the snowy Ausangate, the entire round trip will take us an average of five hours, appreciating lagoons of different shades between turquoise, blue and green, we will also be able to observe the typical high Andean camelids.
The lagoons that we will visit are: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q'omercocha, Orqo Otorongo and China Otorongo.
After the aforementioned, we will return to Pacchanta where a comforting lunch is waiting for us, after lunch we can enjoy the thermal baths with a beautiful view of the mountains and local life.
Finally we will return to Cusco, arriving around 7:30 p.m.
