Itinerary
Day 1
Excursion to Gran Canaria by jeep
This jeep tour through the heart of the island is ideal for you to see with your own eyes why Gran Canaria is said to be a “miniature continent”. You will go in a jeep with all the comforts and with highly experienced professional drivers.
We start the excursion along a coastal road to Arguineguín, from there we go up a secondary road that, between ravines and valleys, shows us the contrast between the south that we have left, and these mid-range areas where the vegetation is becoming more and more evident. .
We pass through Cercado del Espino where tropical plantations are observed towards Soria, a small village that gives its name to the largest water reservoir in the Canary Islands, with time to walk and have breakfast, whoever wishes (not included in the price).
Within these landscapes of reservoirs, forests, and impressive volcanic formations, we will arrive at the Presa de las Niñas, where if the weather and the conditions of the dam allow it, we will be able to take a bath.
Then, always through hidden roads, we will arrive at San Bartolome de Tirajana where we can have lunch (not included in the price).
To wash down the meal, nothing better than a camel ride, we will stop at the Arteara Camel Park, located in a wonderful palm grove, you can book our option with a camel ride included, or simply enjoy the surroundings. The stop is about 30 minutes and the camel route about 20 minutes. The return is spectacular and is done through the Fataga ravine to Playa Del Inglés on dirt tracks.
Without a doubt, a "miniature continent" in a day of motoring and adventure.
