Day 1
Tour Roman Theater and Alcazaba of Malaga in the AFTERNOON
Start time: 5:00 pm
- First, we will start the day in Calle Alcazabilla, next to the Interpretation Center of the Roman Theater, where the guide will be waiting. While we visit the remains of the theater, we will learn about the origins and history of one of the oldest cities in the world, with special emphasis on the Roman period and its theater from the 1st century AD, in excellent state of conservation. flourishing commercial city, known for its famous Garum sauce, a delicatessen of the time, and whose curious process of elaboration we will reveal during the tour.
- Less than a minute's walk away is the Alcazaba de Málaga , a medieval Arab fortress, built in the 11th century, and known as the "little sister of the Alhambra in Granada." Enjoying a walk through its walls, we will understand how this fortification had a reputation for being impregnable for much of its history.
- Finally, once we have reached the upper enclosure, we will discover the palace and its gardens of Nasrid essence, where kings and governors lived for more than 400 years.
