After being picked up from your hotel, the port or the bus terminal, we will head to the center of Colonia and begin our private city tour.
First, we will visit the Real de San Carlos area, stopping at the San Benito chapel and the Mihanovich complex. Then, we will continue to the old hotel (now headquarters of the Polytechnic University of Valencia), Plaza de Toros, El Frontón, Hipódromo, Usina and the Pier.
Once we reach the west coast, we will pass along the great bay and its beaches, we will cross different suburbs and we will arrive at the center and the commercial areas. There, we will enter the historic district through the Portón de Campo, the old Colonia del Sacramento.
Our private guide will tell you in detail about the points of interest that have allowed the city to be declared by UNESCO as Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 1995. At noon, we will have time for lunch (not included) in one of the restaurants on the shore of the beach.
After lunch, we will go to the renowned Granja Arenas, where we can discover the Museum of Pencil Collections and the diverse amount of articles that their owners have kept for a long time.
And as part of the attractions of Granja Arenas, we can taste the homemade sweets produced in the region.
After knowing the wonders of Colonia and Granja Arenas, we will return to the downtown hotels, port or bus terminal.
