Itinerary
Day 1
To discover the jungle
9:30 a.m. Departure from our office to the main port to take a boat where we will navigate the Madre de Dios River for about 40 minutes, where we will arrive at our accommodation where we will be our next days of stay.
3:30 pm. Kayak on the Madre de Dios River to be able to have more contact with nature to enjoy to the fullest to see more butterflies, until reaching the island of the monkeys.
12:30 pm. Lunch.
3:30 pm. We take a walk inside the jungle to see and learn about some medicinal plants with the chance to see some monkeys, birds, insects, within the power of familiarizing ourselves with the jungle and see some thousand-year-old trees that your guide will give you more information about the economic activities of our region.
6:30 pm. We will carry out the search for alligators that normally at night their eyes shine when illuminated. This time is perfect because they go out to look for their food or to hunt other nocturnal animals such as capybaras, majas or picuro, armadillo.

Day 2

5:00 a.m. We visit Lake Sandoval, located in the Tambopata National Reserve, a beautiful 3-kilometre mirror of water, extraordinarily rich in flora and fauna biodiversity.
Within this beautiful lake we can see animals in their natural habitat such as monkeys, turtles, black caiman, giant otter, which are in danger, many resident birds such as herons, puma herons, kingfishers, toucans, hoatzin or shansho which is a pre-historic bird, where your local guide will give you more information about the different types of ecosystems that exist in this beautiful lake, where it is surrounded by swamps of mauritian palm trees, orchids, timber trees such as lupunas, shihuahuacos, etc., which They are the habitat of the animals already mentioned.
1:00 pm. Lunch.
3:30 pm. Sport fishing: It is very interesting because we can appreciate some parrots and toucans when you navigate the river, we normally catch piranhas, paco, gamitana, pomfret, sardines and some catfish such as catfish, maidens and many varieties that inhabit our beautiful Amazon, where we can also eat and prepare our lunch with the help of the chef.
6:30 pm. Night walk: It is very different to walk during the day and at night to see insects like crickets, grasshoppers, frogs, toads, tarantulas, some reptiles also like snakes, tree lizards like the famous "plica plica" which is a master of camouflage and more important is to feel the symphony of the jungle.

Day 3
Search for giant otters or river wolf
8:00 am. Breakfast.

Note: From November to April this area floods a little with water and is the habitat of Anacondas. Super interesting the type of jungle that changes according to the season.
