Itinerary
Day 1
Puerto Maldonado to the Lodge
Upon arrival at the airport or bus station in Puerto Maldonado, we will meet you and transfer you to our office for registration.
Your excess luggage will be safely stored in our office in Puerto Maldonado and then we will continue to the Capitanía port. We take our motor boat along the Madre de Dios River for approximately 40 minutes to our Lodge. A refreshing welcome drink will be waiting for you.
The adventure begins when you reach a tower and staircase that ascends to the treetops, where a platform that marks the start of the zip line has a length of almost 200 meters, the impressive views are only combined with the emotion of overcoming our fears. and the adrenaline rushing through. As we jump from the platform supported by the high security harnesses that connect us to the zipline cable to a 27m high platform.
After a well-deserved lunch, we take the kayaks to the river , well protected with high quality life jackets, and accompanied by a motor boat that guarantees additional safety; This level one activity is relaxing and accessible to everyone.
Upon arriving at Isla de los Monos , we will be able to appreciate a great diversity of monkeys such as: capuchin monkeys, tamarins and squirrels, who will perform a show of balancing through the treetops carrying the trunks of the large trees that make up their home. To accept food from our hand.
We will return to the lodge and after dinner we will have our night activity, where we will take our boat and run along the Madre de Dios River in search of the jungle alligators. They are usually on the banks of the Madre de Dios river, this time they will have to bring a flashlight. Hopefully we will be able to see the capybara, the largest rodent in the world that can weigh 60 kilos of the impressive family of the Peruvian guinea pig.

Day 2
Sandoval Lake - Return to Puerto Maldonado
After an excellent breakfast, we will take the boat to reach the control of the Tambopata National Reserve Zone, after 1 hour and a half of walking through the rain forest, we will approach the famous Sandoval Lake.
Where we will be surrounded by huge ancient trees and tangled vines; We will be able to see flowers and fauna of various shades, such as: giant otters, birds, colored butterflies, turtles and a variety of fish.
We will spend a few hours canoeing in this one of the most beautiful lakes in the region.
We will return to the Lodge and take our boat back to Puerto Maldonado, our boat departures at 10:30 am.
Followed by transfer to the airport or bus station.
